Manager, Sales Director China

Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Executive to lead and grow our business in China.

This is a leadership role focusing on driving revenue growth, increasing regional profitability, and shaping our long-term business development strategy in the Chinese market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales leadership within the region, a hands-on mindset and deep knowledge of local market dynamics. 

Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy, managing relationships with key customers and strategic partners across the region and collaborating effectively with global teams.



Responsibilities


  • Develop the country-level sales strategy and create a detailed plan to drive business growth.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor an experienced local sales team, supporting complex sales cycles through to successful closure.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product Development, and R&D.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customers and prospects — including their business models, use cases, needs, objectives, projects, and budgets.
  • Represent Bright Data effectively at all organizational levels, including with decision-makers, business users, and technical stakeholders.
  • Direct reporting to the Vice President of APAC.


Requirements


  • 15+ years of overall sales experience, with a strong background in selling to enterprises, SMEs, and SMBs.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the China region, including developing growth strategies, managing key relationships, and hiring and retaining top talent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS or Cloud Software sales, preferably within the travel, retail, or e-commerce industries.
  • Proven ability to execute complex sales strategies and manage territory plans effectively.
  • Proven and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar annual sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Location: Shanghai or Beijing (fully remote)
